CrocCroc
Leather « Croc » The “CROC” print is created using NUBUCK leather. The leather is aniline dyed which means that the colour is deep and stable. The pattern is made using a hot stamping plate that is applied to the leather to create the pattern which is imprinted and weather resistant therefore. Recommendations for cleaning and maintaining this type of leather are the same as for Nubuck leather. Nos conseils d'entretien pour votre accessoire en cuir Croc Before using products made using this leather, it is important to protect them with a transparent waterproofing spray. Marks can be reduced using a special eraser. A rubber brush used over the whole surface of the product will revive the colour before you reapply the waterproofing spray. DAIM or SUEDE may transfer their colour onto fabrics when exposed to friction or rubbing. We recommend avoiding wearing light-coloured clothes therefore with a dark-coloured bag without checking beforehand,by rubbing with a soft cloth, that the colour is fast and that it will not transfer to clothing. Waterproofing will also reduce the porosity of the leather. Voir les sacs

CaïmanCaïman
Leather « Caïman » This is ‘fantasy’ leather. It is created using calfskin. The pattern of the scales is printed on the underskin or crust using stamping plates that are applied hot. The leather is aniline dyed and after the application of the stamping plates that create the pattern, a varnish is applied that gives them this shiny, smooth two-tone finish. These skins have been conceived to enable the reproduction of the scales on the back of the creature, which is why it has a slight relief effect. The presence of this print and the relief effect mean that any scratches are less visible than they would be on smooth or plain leather. The top of the scales, namely the part that appears in relief, will take on a patina and lose its sheen over time due to rubbing and friction. Nos conseils d'entretien pour votre accessoire en cuir Caïman With regards cleaning and maintaining this type of leather we recommend treating it like other leathers with transparent wax, and then buffing it up with a soft, dry cloth. Never use a brush unless you cover and protect it with a soft dry fabric. Voir les sacs

StoneStone
Leather « Stone » STONE leather created using calfskin is full-grain leather that has been treated to give it a rubber-like appearance with a very mat finish. Nos conseils d'entretien pour votre accessoire en cuir Stone The rubber finish makes this material a bit more susceptible to finger marks and slightly oily substances. These can create darker marks. However, these fade rapidly after rubbing with a soft, clean and dry cloth. Its rubbery feel is particularly soft to the touch even if the finish tends to make it dryer - one consequence of which is that folds are more likely to leave marks if the product is not stored away correctly. We recommend filling it with paper when not in use in order to avoid fold marks appearing as once they appear, they run the risk of being permanent. Voir les sacs

StarStar
Leather « Star » The star pattern on this fantasy leather is printed on the underside of calfskin, the crust therefore, after it has been aniline dyed. This leather is available in black, in a version where the leather has been varnished after printing to create the shiny surface. Over time, the finish may lose its sheen on the top of the star (the part in relief) and become more mat. Nos conseils d'entretien pour votre accessoire en cuir Star We recommend cleaning and maintaining this product using a soft dry cloth. It serves no purpose to waterproof this leather as it has a protective coating. Voir les sacs

Golden/HippoGolden/Hippo
Leather « Golden/Hippo » This “GOLDEN” metallic finish is achieved using SUEDE leather. This suede is actually made from calfskin. The finish is applied to the crust of the leather, the underskin. A metallic finish is applied to the whole surface of the leather in order to create the pattern of squares. This finish is more scratch-resistant and smoother to the touch than suede. Suede with a metallic finish is more susceptible to rubbing and friction. When exposed to rubbing and friction the thin metallic film can lose some of is sheen and may over the long term, cause the pattern of squares to disappear. This wear and tear is inherent with metallic finishes. Nos conseils d'entretien pour votre accessoire en cuir Golden/Hippo There are no precise recommendations for cleaning and maintaining this type of leather. It is not necessary to waterproof the different component parts as the metallic finish provides a protective layer – water will form drops on the surface and will not penetrate into the leather. The presence of this print and the relief effect mean that any scratches are less visible than they would be on smooth or plain leather. VelvetVelvet
Leather « Velvet » “VELVET” fabric (combination of plain and printed velvet)The VELVET fabric used on our model is a smooth velvet (as opposed to textured velvet which is like a corduroy). The fabric is shaved on one side and covered on the other with threads that stand proud and that are extremely short and very closely woven, held together with fabric threads. This VELVET finish lends the fabric a velvety aspect. Nos conseils d'entretien pour votre accessoire en cuir Velvet A transparent fabric waterproofing spray can be applied before use and then at regular intervals to prevent marks appearing or at least to reduce their appearance to a minimum. If the pile is slightly crushed, you can restore the structure by using a fabric brush or a damp cloth. Voir les sacs

PantherPanther
Leather « Panther » “PANTHER” leather (in combination with STONE leather)The PANTHER pattern is applied to a shaved lambskin, which means that the wool has been cut to the shortest possible length. Lambskins are small and are among the most supple and silky of leathers. The pattern is printed throughout the entire depth of the wool and not only on the surface. Wear and tear of the skin is only natural and even if the pattern fades a little, it will always remain visible and present. Nos conseils d'entretien pour votre accessoire en cuir Panther Cleaning and maintaining this type of product is quite easy in that only one single application of a waterproofing spray is needed. When spraying the product hold the can at least 30 centimetres from the product as it might leave marks otherwise. We should point out however that this lambskin is not very fond of water and you should avoid exposing it to heavy rain. Voir les sacs

DiscoDisco
Leather « Disco » “DISCO” is created using “SUEDE” leather, which is itself the result of a process applied to calfskin. The suede is covered with a shiny film that is then ‘scratched’ in order to achieve this small stippled pattern. Between the dots – after having ‘scratched’ the leather to achieve the effect - the finish of the underside of the leather appears – the Suede finish. Nos conseils d'entretien pour votre accessoire en cuir Disco Cleaning recommendations for this leather are the same as for suede leather therefore. It is important to protect this leather with a transparent waterproofing spray. Voir les sacs

CeramicCeramic
Leather « Ceramic » This fantasy leather has a print that imitates the scales of an alligator. It is made with calfskin and the pattern of the scales is achieved by applying a hot plate to the bottom layer of the leather, the so-called crust leather. The skins are dyed throughout. The "entre grain" is then dyed blue to create a two-tone effect that gives the design extra depth. Over time, the leather will lose its sheen and gain a more matt aspect due to friction. Nos conseils d'entretien pour votre accessoire en cuir Ceramic This leather like all other kinds of leather should be treated with a colourless wax or cream and then buffed with a dry cloth. Never use a brush unless it is protected by covering it with a soft dry cloth. Voir les sacs

DotsDots
Leather « Dots » This is fantasy leather. It is made with calfskin and the dot print is applied with a hot plate to the bottom layer of the leather, which is called crust leather. This creates a print with a relief effect. The leather is first coated with a white dye, the black colour of the dots is then applied at the same time as the relief effect is created. Over time, the surface of the part in relief may lose its sheen due to friction, causing the lower layer that is dyed white to emerge more visibly. Nos conseils d'entretien pour votre accessoire en cuir Dots Stains can be removed with a slightly damp cloth, but this should only be used on the stain itself, never on the entire surface of the product. It is not necessary to apply a waterproofing protective spray to this type of leather. Voir les sacs

Leather « Curly » The CURLY fabric is made of 90% cotton which makes it look very natural. During the weaving process, numerous irregular loops are formed on the surface which give the fabric an uneven surface and a relief effect. The fabric is treated in such a way that water drops remain on the surface and do not penetrate into the fabric. Nos conseils d'entretien pour votre accessoire en cuir Curly A colourless waterproofing spray should be applied before use. If you do this regularly you will prevent stains and/or reduce them.
